TICKETS ON SALE NOW

This is the first in our new Make A Scene Film Club strand which is a residency at Culutreplex's gorgeous new 35 seater cinema.

We're so excited to become a real queer film club showing a huge variety of camp and LGBTQIA films and TV in an amazing queer friendly space, stripped back without our way-too-interactive trimmings.

We're going to be screening weird and wonderful stuff from classic films beloved by the LGBT+ community, underground movies, camp cinema and queer films old and brand new. From Judy Garland movies to Bruce La Bruce, from Pink Flamingos to Blue is the Warmest Colour...anything is possible.

In CULTUREPLEX we've found a boutique cinema space with a gorgeous bar for pre-drinks cocktails and post-film chat and we'll be screening films there on the first Friday of the month.

Whilst this is different to our infamous Way-Too-Interactive screenings there'll be intros from Gary, some drunken commentary where appropriate plus guest hosts and exciting weird Make A Scene-esque stuff - you know we like to go the extra mile and give you a great night out at the cinema!

We're super excited that our first film is going to be an ultimate camp classic - MOMMIE DEAREST and we'll be joined by guest host Grace Oni Smith for intro and commentary.

Come, drink, be merry enjoy one of cinema's most quotable so-bad-it's-good masterpieces.

For our first screening your ticket includes a free martini, darling! Bring a wire hanger and exchange it for a cocktail at our Wire Hanger Amnesty in tribute to Joan herself.
