This film casts a long shadow and has the same basic story line as Showgirls, it’s dripping in old Hollywood glamour, backstage Broadway bitching and a boasts a balls-to-the-wall performance from gay icon Bette Davis, this is the campest Best Picture winner this side of Gone With The Wind!
