Zero Patience is a 1993 Canadian musical comedy about AIDS so we'll let he synopsis speak for itself...

"The ghost of Zero - "patient zero", who allegedly first brought aids to Canada - materialises and tries to contact old friends. Meanwhile, the Victorian explorer Sir Richard Burton, who drank from the Fountain of Youth and now works as Chief Taxidermist at the Toronto Natural history Museum, is trying to organise an Aids Exhibition."

The London Korean Film Festival returns to Manchester's HOME cinema on the 24 & 25 Nov. Keep an eye out for Little Forest starring Kim Tae-ri and Moon Sori from Korean new queer classic The Handmaiden. Based on a Manga series about a young woman who returns to the countryside of her youth and finds huge - almost-Proustian -significance and satisfaction in the details of food preparation. I know! We dropped Proust into a Make A Scene newsletter! ("Who the frig is Proust?!")

There's also the timely indie, Microhabitat abut a female outsider in her 30s, forced out of her flat and left to seek out her old friends for shelter. The film is absurd, sad and smart in equal measures.
